Fantasy Football Week 15 quarterback rankings: Lamar Jackson and COVID absences leave QB shallow

Week 14 was the best QB game week we’ve seen in Week 7 as we saw an average of 17.15 Fantasy points just passing production scoring six points per TD pass per game. No other week of the previous six had passed 16.2 – so that’s no small feat. Of course, that would also have been the lowest number for any of the first seven weeks of the season, when quarterbacks averaged 18.5 points per game; in the seven weeks since, that average has fallen to 15.5 points per game.

It has been a strange occurrence, and even with the weeks off coming to an end in Week 15, injuries threaten to reduce the level of play in the league anyway. It’s going to be very interesting to see how these trends play out over the final four weeks of the season – and how they impact QB’s position for 2022 – but the reality is that as we head into the Fantasy Playoffs, I am not sure that I really confidence anyone outside of the top nine in the standings, and even that could push him. The expected absence of Lamar Jackson (ankle) does not help matters either.
