The Jacksonville Jaguars were probably the busiest team when it came to free agent additions, which means fans are going to see a lot of different faces on the court this season. It also means that fans will have some New Jersey options to choose from when visiting their favorite fan gear sites online.
On Monday, some of the numbers for the Jags’ offseason additions were revealed. The announcement included five offensive players, four defensive players and a specialist.
New offensive players who picked up new numbers included receivers Christian Kirk (#13) and Zay Jones (#7), offensive lineman Brandon Murphy (#77), tight end Evan Engram (#7) #17) and guard Brandon Scherff (#68).
On defense, players who picked their numbers included defensive tackles Foley Fatukasi (#94) and Raequan Williams (#99), as well as linebackers Foyesade Oluokun (#54) and Elijah Sullivan (#58).
New kicker Ryan Santoso was the only specialist in the group and he will wear number 19.
Players who have new offensive numbers are Engram, who uses DJ Chark’s old number and the one he wore at Ole Miss, and Brandon Scherff, who was No. 75 with the Washington Commanders. Murphy, who was in the Spring League last season, also has a new number as he previously wore No. 62 with the Sea Lions.
In defense, Williams had a number change. He previously wore No. 61 with the Philadelphia Eagles. Sullivan was unable to make the regular season roster last season, but wore No. 0 while with Kansas State.
Santoso previously wore number 5 with the Detroit Lions when he was on their regular season roster in 2021.
