MAN United ace Jesse Lingard has been targeted by ‘Away Day’ thieves who stole more than £100,000 worth of clothes and jewelery from his home.
The Sun can reveal he became their latest victim on January 15 as the Red Devils traveled to Aston Villa.
The gang escaped with the transport before security was alerted to their £3million mansion.
In May 2020, Lingard showed an MTV crew around his five-bedroom home for his show Cribs.
He showed off his walk-in wardrobe with a huge collection of designer sneakers and his 32 England caps.
Since the burglary, Lingard, 27, has listed Hale’s property, Gtr Manchester, for sale and accepted an offer.
It has a swimming pool, a gym and a cinema room.
A source said of Jesse, who has a young daughter: “He was really upset to hear he had been targeted.
“The items that were stolen are replaceable, but it’s very invasive for him to have someone break into his house, especially since he’s a father.
“He has tightened security since the theft and is reviewing how his home is protected when he walks away.”
Lingard was robbed four days before a terrifying raid on team-mate Victor Lindelof’s house as the club played against Brentford.
Last week The Sun reported how two other United stars were also robbed over the Christmas period, forcing the club to recruit a 24/7 security team.
A club source said all players were being offered a review of their security arrangements and additional support.
