Here are the candidates:

Nate Robbins, Millville. The senior quarterback completed 24 of 28 passes for a career-high 408 yards and four touchdowns in a 40-7 win over Williamstown on Friday. Robbins became the first Atlantic Cape League school QB to eclipse the 400-yard mark, beating the previous best of 380 yards by Nolan Quinn of Middle Township in 2008.

Ja’Quan Howard, Cedar Creek. The senior rushed 24 times for 222 yards and three touchdowns as the Pirates recovered their first deficit of the season for a 35-27 victory at Winslow on Friday. He delivered 158 yards and two scores in eight carries in the third quarter.

Zac Palmer-Smith, Delran. The senior rushed for a school record 358 yards with three touchdowns in a 35-6 win over Collingswood on Friday. In defense, he provided eight tackles.

Kwinten Ives, Palmyra. The junior dragged the ball 25 times for 266 yards and three touchdowns in the 44-38 win over Holy Cross, propelling the Panthers to their first win of the season. Ives also had a 42-yard touchdown reception along with five tackles and one sack in defense.

Michael Estremera, Woodrow Wilson. The senior had three interceptions, returning one for a score as the Tigers upset Holy Spirit, 28-12, on Saturday. Estremera also had four catches for 45 yards on offense.

Steven Burkhardt, Gloucester. Just another day at the office for Burkhardt, who ran 188 times for 294 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-6 win over Pitman. He added a fifth score on a kickoff return.

Declan Williams, Paul VI. The senior quarterback ran wild as he pulled the decisive touchdown in overtime as the Eagles recovered from a 21-point deficit to beat Cherry Hill West, 27-21. Williams completed 12 of 22 passes for 202 yards and two scores. He also delivered a forced fumble that ended the game.
